India Online
Fashion Week is the first ever attempt by the Online Fashion Shopping Giant –
Jabong. In collaboration with Talenthouse India, they aim at showcasing
garments with the option of ordering on spot!
This unique
initiative has opened doors to a new path in the way we shop online. The event
is scheduled from July 25th to 30th. The organizers
invited various design aspirants from fashion institutes. WLCI School of Fashion also jumped in the pool of opportunity.
The
preparation of the event started on the 1st of July and our students
took front stage !
Being held
in the capital region, WLCI Fashion Students from Delhi campus were seen
flourishing at the event. They got a chance to meet celebrated models like
Carol Gracious amongst many others.
They were
mentored by industry elites and got complete insight knowledge on how a fashion
show works. From draping and dressing real life models to witnessing their
garment come alive on the ramp. This experience definitely was one to remember,
as claimed by our talented students.
Also a part
of the initiative is Yami Gautam who is all set to offer substantial tips on
grooming and styling to participants. WLCI students are anxiously looking
forward to the event. The mentors at the event include top designers like
Poonam Bhagat and Samant Chauhan.
