Is WLCI encouraging Uniqueness



Indeed !

WLCI encourages uniqueness because the main ideology of the enterprise focuses on strengthening the skill set that a student showcases. There are many institutes offering professional courses but, what makes WLCI different is the effort the faculty members and mentors make to enhance each person.

At WLCI, the goal is not to create robots with text book jargon. Rather, we emphasize on the understanding of the topic in hand with respect to its relevance in the real world. This is done by the process of Individual mentoring, Industry exposure and experience, as well as live projects and workshops. 

A student is given many opportunities to explore and find their calling. An example of this is the Hat Assignment done by the Foundation Batch at the time of Orientation. This was conducted at WLCI Mumbai Campus, with the focus on highlighting everyone’s personalities. 

The students were asked to create a hat, one which best symbolized them. Unknowingly, the students demonstrated and represented their qualities, preferences and thought process. At the end of the day, the faculty members knew in greater depth the students principles and ideas. By the help of this evaluation, they would be guided through the years to come. 

This is just the start for these young and budding professionals, and we feel that their potential is colossal. The basis of the project was to imply that no one is the best or worst at what they do, it's just a matter of the way you see it. No two hats and/or people are the same; they all have a tinge of uniqueness to them.

WLCI Fashion Students Participating in Shows



India Online Fashion Week is the first ever attempt by the Online Fashion Shopping Giant – Jabong. In collaboration with Talenthouse India, they aim at showcasing garments with the option of ordering on spot!

This unique initiative has opened doors to a new path in the way we shop online. The event is scheduled from July 25th to 30th. The organizers invited various design aspirants from fashion institutes. WLCI School of Fashion also jumped in the pool of opportunity.

The preparation of the event started on the 1st of July and our students took front stage !
Being held in the capital region, WLCI Fashion Students from Delhi campus were seen flourishing at the event. They got a chance to meet celebrated models like Carol Gracious amongst many others.

They were mentored by industry elites and got complete insight knowledge on how a fashion show works. From draping and dressing real life models to witnessing their garment come alive on the ramp. This experience definitely was one to remember, as claimed by our talented students.

Also a part of the initiative is Yami Gautam who is all set to offer substantial tips on grooming and styling to participants. WLCI students are anxiously looking forward to the event. The mentors at the event include top designers like Poonam Bhagat and  Samant Chauhan.

WLCI Announces Gucci Cosmetics Line



Gucci the multi-million dollar fashion label is all set to launch a new cosmetic line !

The Fashion House has chosen Charolete Casiraghi-the daughter of Princess Caroline of Monaco and a long-standing Gucci muse, to front the campaigns. The cosmetic line would include Lip, Nail, Eye and Face Make-Up.

Feedback of WLCI on Playable Tetris T-shirt




The video game Tetris has endured decades all together without losing fan-following !

Defying advancements in computer graphics and processor speeds to gain new players every year. On its 30th anniversary the Tetris game enthusiast Marc Kerger applied his programming skills toward creating what might be the ultimate wearable tribute to the game: a playable Tetris T-shirt.

WLCI Feedback on Re-walk Robotics



Re-walks Robotics, are the new FDA approved exoskeletons launched in the market that have been designed to empower those without the use of their legs.

  
ReWalk's robotic legs, which support their own weight, weigh 46 pounds, while its backpack, which houses the system's computer and battery. It does a decent job of offering an assistive walking device for people with walking disabilities.

Top Brand Label Bulgari has come up with a new perfume line-Omnia.

It has been inspired by India's sights and sounds. Italian master perfumer Alberto Morillas while creating the perfume had a visual reference- 'a stone the colour of sun-drenched skies', with this in mind he created the new perfume, which is as exotic as India, according to the master perfumer.
