WLC Review by Santanu Rudra

The WLC College’s Employers’ Council was inaugurated in 1998 with the objective of reducing the gap between the curriculum of the courses being offered at the college and the industry’s need and expectations. To accomplish this feat, senior management from companies which recruit WLC students were invited to join the forum. In 2007, the scope offered by the council was increased to include senior management from all companies in the industry to improve the relevancy of the curriculum.

The Council’s main objective is to review and recreate the entire course content of all the 3 functions of management namely marketing, finance and HR.
Mr Santanu Rudra, is an active member of the EC. Here he shares his views regarding the courses being offered at the college.

“This is an Interesting step by the academic sector to engage the industry in developing the course content. Actually, it seems very logical and surprising as it wasn’t done earlier. It also helps us, from the industry perspective as it deepens the understanding of fresh graduates as they enter the industry. It will, however, be more interesting to see how these insights of the meetings are incorporated in course curriculum at WLC College. I’m happy to be a part of it.’

WLC College review by Trishala Singh

wlci reviews
WLC reviews
Hi, my name Is Trishla Singh, and I was a part of WLC College pursuing the graphic design program. The college provided with ample facilities to nurture my talent trough the highly skillful trainers and faculty.

Throughout the course, we were provided with various opportunities to work on projects on recognized platforms. Furthermore, the paid internship helped me to grow as an able team worker in the business environment.
Many of my most impressive portfolio projects were created under the guidance of my teachers at the college. The classroom learning is very important because as individuals, we always stick to a specific style of creating visualizations. Only through interaction can you move beyond this bubble and increase your horizon.
The college also helped me to equip myself with the latest technologies and tools available in the market. This is very unique as most colleges that I checked , were always lagging in the course curriculum according to the international standards.

This up to date knowledge comes very handy when applying for jobs as it gives you an edge in the Indian market. Most employers are looking for graphic designers who can work according to the industry trends and the WLC curriculum is always centered on this aspect.

WLCI is the Best Fashion College in India

My Career has always been a deep concern for me. With a keen interest in fashion I had worked hard through my school years on my creative and drawing skills.
When it came to finally choosing a fashion school for me, I came across WLCI. I had heard about the college through one of my seniors who also wanted to get into fashion in school. She had graduated through WLCI.
She told me that WLCI Mumbai was very popular among the fashion industry circle. Many Renowned designers had been involved with the students providing great industry exposure.
So I applied to the college and got through. I took admission as the admission fee was much less than comparative colleges.
The next few months have been the best time of my life. Every day I get to learn new things and apply my creativity . The different programs keep me on my toes all the time. I have already met many great fashion designers and am confident to making it into the industry,
I would recommend this college to anyone who is interested in pursuing fashion
